April 23, 2022 - Harris records fourth win of 2022 at Needmore Speedway
1On Saturday afternoon, Clay Harris returned to the driver’s seat of his Rescue Metal Framing No. 6 Late Model at Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Ga.). April 2, 2022 - Podium finish in Bristol Dirt Nationals finale
1Clay Harris trekked to Bristol Motor Speedway (Bristol, Tenn.) on Tuesday afternoon to enter his Wilkerson Farms No. 21J Modified into battle for the second annual Bristol Dirt Nationals. After pulling off early in his heat race, Harris was a scratch from his preliminary feature.

On Wednesday, Clay followed up a fifth-place finish in his heat with a 14th-to-fifth run in his preliminary feature.

Thursday’s third-place finish in his heat race positioned him sixth on the starting grid for his prelim. Losing one spot in the 15-lap affair, Harris logged a seventh-place finish.

With his spot already locked into Saturday’s finale, Clay advanced forward eight spots in the A-Main to register a third-place finish. He trailed Michael Asberry and Kyle Strickler to the checkers with Zach Johnson and Mitch Thomas rounding out the Top-5.

March 26, 2022 - Fourth-place finish in Southern Clash feature at Needmore
1Saturday night found Clay Harris in action at Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Ga.) competing with the Southern Clash Late Models. With his qualifying effort placing him on the fourth row for the $2,500-to-win A-Main, Clay clawed forward three spots in the 30-lapper to register a fourth-place finish. He trailed Scott Johnson, Brandon Wells, and Hunter Carter across the line with Jim Rogers coming in fifth.

March 12, 2022 - Fuel issues arise at Golden Isles Speedway
1Clay Harris was back in action on Saturday afternoon at Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Ga.) aboard his Dunn Rite Construction No. 6 Late Model. After showing speed in preliminary events, Harris ran into fuel issues in the feature that ended his night early.

February 19, 2022 - Harris wins Winter Dirt Games opener at Bubba Raceway Park
1On Thursday afternoon, Clay Harris returned to the driver’s seat of the Impact Electrical Services No. 21J Modified at Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Fla.) for the Winter Dirt Games XIII. After setting the fast time in his group and winning his heat race, Harris outran Tyler Nicely in the feature to claim his third win of the season. He took the checkers ahead of Nicely, Garret Stewart, David Reutimann, and Kenny Wallace.

The following night, Clay came in fourth-fastest in his group before placing second in his heat. Reeling in a podium finish in the feature, Harris posted a second-place finish in the 25-lapper, which came behind Tyler Nicely.

For the finale on Saturday, Harris secured his spot into finale with an eight-lap heat race win. Unable to close the distance on front-runner Tyler Nicely, Clay recorded a second-place finish in the 25-lapper.

February 12, 2022 - Clay Harris bags preliminary win in Modified at Volusia
1 Clay Harris was back in action on Thursday evening at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Fla.) piloting his Wilkerson Farms No. 21J Modified for the DIRTcar Nationals. Later that night, Clay followed up a heat win with a fifth-place finish in the feature, locking his spot into the Saturday’s $5,000-to-win finale.

Fading outside the Top-10 in the 30-lap affair, Harris recorded a 15th-place outing.

February 5, 2022 - Runner-up finish in Modified at North Florida Speedway
1Clay Harris debuted in his Longhorn by Loenbro Motorsports No. 21 Modified on Saturday evening at North Florida Speedway (Lake City, Fla.). With a third-place finish in his heat lining him up 14th on the starting grid for the feature, Harris advanced through the field 12 spots in the 25-lapper to register a second-place finish. He trailed Tyler Nicely to the checkers with Lucas Lee, Jason Garver, and Todd Neiheiser rounding out the Top-5.

January 29, 2022 - Harris double dips with American Late Model Super Series
1The 2022 speedweeks continued for Clay Harris on Thursday afternoon at Putnam Raceway (Satsuma, Fla.) to compete with the American Late Model Super Series. After coming in second in his heat race behind Jason Garver, Clay won by more than an eight-second margin in the 25-lap feature to capture his first win of the season and a $2,500 payday. After topping Johnny Collins in his heat race on Friday, Harris lost to Collins by a 0.539 second margin in the feature to place second.

The following night at North Florida Speedway (Lake City, Fla.), Clay claimed his second win of the season in the feature, which was worth $2,500. He finished ahead of Nevin Gainey, Johnny Collins, Cameron Saunders, and Jason Garver.

Sunday’s finale at North Florida Speedway was cancelled after freezing temperatures damaged the track’s water pipes.

January 21, 2022 - Sixth-place finish in season opener at Volusia
1Bringing to life his 2022 season, Clay Harris traveled to Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Fla.) on Thursday afternoon to compete with the Crate Racin’ USA Winter Shootout Series for the three-day Sunshine Nationals. With rough track conditions forcing officials to postpone his feature to Friday afternoon, Harris gained two spots to register a sixth-place finish.

Later Friday evening, Harris secured his spot into the $2,000-to-win A-Main with a seventh-to-third run in his heat.

After a late-night shower delayed his feature until Saturday, continuous rain throughout the night postponed his feature to February 7th and cancelled Saturday night’s program.

November 20, 2021 - Harris bags fifth-place finish with Crate Racin' USA at Needmore
1Clay Harris returned to action on Friday afternoon by visiting Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Ga.) to compete with the Crate Racin’ USA. Drawing 40 Late Models for the two-day Early Bird, Harris’ qualifying effort placed him fifth on the starting grid for the preliminary feature.
