Fourth-place outing in Magnolia 75 with Crate Racin' USA at Magnolia Motor Speedway

Making one last Crate Late Model start in 2023, Clay Harris visited Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) on Friday afternoon for the Crate Racin' USA-sanctioned Magnolia 75.

Among 49 Late Models signed in, Clay missed the set up in qualifying but made up for it in his heat race by storming forward 10 positions to finish runner-up behind Cory Hedgecock.

Locked into Saturday's $10,000-to-win finale, Harris started the 75-lap main event from the fourth row and ran as high as second before finishing just off the podium in fourth. He trailed Mark Whitener, Cory Hedgecock, and Jose Parga while Randall Beckwith completed the Top-5.
