Harris faces tough luck with Modified Mafia Tour at Needmore Speedway
Friday evening saw Clay Harris enter his No. 21j into Modified Mafia Tour competition at Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Ga.) for the first of two nights at the track.
With a strong 32-car field in the pit area, Harris just missed an A-Main transfer spot in qualifying before picking up the win in his heat race. After a tough couple starts in the $2,000-to-win main event, Clay pulled in early and did not finish.
Saturday's $3,000 finale was cancelled due to rain showers.
