Clay Harris barely misses out on Deuces Wild at Golden Isles Speedway

With a busy Speedweeks coming to an end, Clay Harris rolled into at Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Ga.) on Saturday afternoon to compete with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series after Friday's opener was a wash.

With 45 Late Models packed into the pit area, Clay qualified 19th-fastest in his group and made up two positions in his heat race. Being relegated to a B-Main, Harris moved forward but still came up one spot short of making the $20,000 main event.
