Clay Harris tackles Dirt Late Model Dream at Eldora; seventh with XRSS at Kokomo

Making the trek to the state of Ohio, Clay Harris arrived to at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Wednesday afternoon for the 30th-annual Dirt Late Model Dream.

After Mother Nature wiped out Wednesday's FloRacing Night in America event, Harris opened up the weekend on Thursday night for preliminary action.

Harris struggled to find speed in qualifying which put him behind the eight ball for most of the evening. Harris was unable to make the $25,000-to-win preliminary feature after an eighth-place finish in his B-Main.

Slated to start deep in the first heat race on Saturday, Clay climbed forward five positions for a better spot in the B-Main. Unfortunately, Harris pulled off early and did not make the main event.

Hoping for better luck on Monday afternoon at Kokomo (Ind.) Speedway, Harris raced his way into the $15,000-to-win A-Main and completed all 50-laps to finish seventh.
