Clay Harris attends Knoxville Nationals with Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
With another long trip ahead of him, Clay Harris kicked off a busy month of racing with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway for the 20th-annual Knoxville Nationals.
With a strong 40-car field on hand both nights, Harris was unable to make a preliminary feature on Thursday or Friday with fourth and sixth-place finishes in his B-Mains respectively.
Using a provisional to start the $50,000-to-win main event, Harris recorded a 25th-place outing.
Harris is currently second in the LOLMDS Rookie of the Year point standings.
